Day 23-27 At Sea

Safe has been fixed. They also put new carpet in our room and painted our balcony a little. Now that we have completed the first segment of our cruise our member status has been upgraded to 'Medallion'. We don't get any benefit so I can't really see the point of it. Maybe we will get invited to a cocktail party or something. Won't say no to free cocktails.

We went to the pizzeria for the first time, it was good. 

Day 24

Cooler day today, but the ship is moving too much to walk outside or do Zumba. They have put out vomit bags everywhere in case people get sick.

I was walking past some of the housekeeping staff today. They always greet you and wish you well, but today one of them said "You have a very familiar face, like Australian Prime Minister. Is that a compliment?" I replied "NOoope". He will probably hide if I go anywhere near him again.

We have our 4th Formal night tonight. Clocks back an hour.

Day 25

We saw a South Korean Destroyer and a Japanese Destroyer today at sea. We had the 'ultimate deck party' with a tropics theme at 9.45pm. I went for an hour then left. The flash mob was good. One of the on board dancers was dancing around the spar fencing like a male stripper.... "Wrong venue mate". Clocks back an hour.

Day 26

We are sailing on the Red Sea today. 

I thought I would give a picture tour of the ship.

Here you have a glimpse of the stores on level 6. The jewellery is quite nice.

Day 27

It's nanas birthday today. We have a booking at the sterling steakhouse for dinner.
